WHAT IS THE TOURNAMENT SERIES

Build thematic decks using adapted rules! Events could be franchise-themed, multiplayer focused, classification-based, etc.

This series is an unofficial format to facilitate fun and unique experiences for casual and seasoned players alike. Cards and combinations that may not typically see play have a chance to shine. The focus is theme over high-level competition, yet exciting prizes will still be awarded!

The exact tournament structure is TBD pending player participation, but players generally can expect to play 3 to 5 rounds with each round having a time limit.

Not everyone will prefer the specific rules and adaptations for the themes/formats of this tournament series and that's ok! These events simply add some variety for the community and are intended to be scheduled separate from of the normal League time at VP on Sunday evenings.

An exceptional experience for all players is always the goal for any event at Victory Pints.

WHAT ARE THE DECK BUILDING RULES

The focus for this event is decks built around specific ERAS. Each deck must adhere to the following rules:

Choose one ERA (see below)
60 card minimum (no maximum)
3 COPIES maximum of any specific card (with the exception of cards like "Dalmatian Puppy" and "Microbots" etc.)
Decks may include cards from any set and any number of ink types, even all 6 (amber, amethyst, emerald, ruby, sapphire, steel)
Decks may NOT include more than 20 cards from any one movie or franchise in the chosen ERA
Each card must clearly belong to a specific ERA
Decks may include up to 10 total cards from the following (which do not clearly belong to a specific ERA):
- - Lorcana generic cards like the coils, spheres, inkcaster, Owl Island, etc.
  - Classic Disney characters like Mickey & Friends (with the exception of the Mickey, Donald, Goofy: The Three Musketeers movie. It's part of the 2000's ERA)
  - Winnie the Pooh franchise characters

Players should keep in mind that because this format is not standard or regularly playtested there could be combinations that are overpowered or imbalanced.

There is no requirement to submit a deck list in order to participate, but the event organizer may request to view a player's deck at any time and may disqualify a player for using a deck that doesn't adhere to the deck building parameters.
